The recording

For Nykteria’s debut full-length album, the band teamed-up with Jami Honkala from Univaltakunta Studio. Drum recording took place in the studio during 1st-3rd of May 2025. 11 songs of death metal drumming were recorded in timespan of two and a half days. At the end of the session I started having leg cramps. Funny how even with all the warming up, conditioning, and preparation, you still find your limits fast in the end with this style of music.
