New Website Launched

New site

Welcome to this site. I have been pondering about building a personal website for some time now, and decided to build one. Content will revolve mostly around drums, and music.

I have years of experience with WordPress but decided to try astro.build. Buzz and hype around fast loadtimes and “islands” seemed interesting. This should get rid of myriads of MySQL requests very common in WordPress. Although if this site had 500 users I would probably try WordPress, but for a small site I wanted to explore new methods.

What’s up?

Recently I’ve been playing lots of jazz/swing/bepop type of music. I’ve got the traditional grip spark on drums, and it sure is a big step. Radius ulna movement is working smoothly, but multiple bounces are proving to be difficult with the left hand. I have been experimeting playing traditional grip in a couple Nykteria songs, however I don’t have the confidence yet to fully use it as I want to.

In addition, I’ve started to work on a new playthrough video from Nykteria’s Henosis album. More about this later, as some investments towards microphones are first required.
